Ways To Get Involved
Volunteering is a powerful way to show compassion and care for patients that need assistance. Our volunteers are thoroughly vetted and trained to assist in all aspects of patient care and respect. Holding patient safety, privacy, compassion and care as our top priorities. Volunteer opportunities come in many positions. Physical In-Person Representatives, Admin/Clerical aka behind the scenes Operation Representatives, Accounts & Marketing Volunteers, etc. To get started, click here
Physical Care Packages or Donations assist patients with gathering daily essentials that some healthcare facilities may lack. Being honest, some of the products used at healthcare facilities are not the greatest of quality and sometimes can actually cause more harm to the patient in multiple ways. Your donations will go a long way. To donate physical, unused items, click here
Monetary Donations are always welcome and encouraged. Understanding that your monetary donations are used 100% in operations of Mirta’s Way, and no monetary donations are used to pay any volunteer, officer or board member! We pride ourselves in being transparent with donations received and also allow donors to allocate what they’d like their funds to be used for. For physical gift card donations, click here.
